Textured Knit Design for Hot Climate Comfort
Short sleeve polo shirt with vertical cable knit texture pattern throughout body. Three-button placket with ribbed collar. Hollow-out knit construction allows air circulation while maintaining coverage.
Fabric Composition
95% Viscose, 5% Polyamide Blend
Viscose (rayon) provides silk-like drape and excellent moisture absorption. Draws perspiration away from skin and dries faster than cotton. Polyamide adds durability and shape retention.
Softer hand feel than traditional cotton polos. More breathable in humid conditions. Lightweight without sheerness.
Knit Structure
Cable knit pattern creates vertical texture lines and hollow spaces between stitches. This open construction allows continuous airflow against skin. Surface texture prevents fabric from clinging in hot, humid weather.
Not solid jersey knit. The textured pattern creates micro air pockets throughout garment.
Climate-Specific Design
Hot Weather Performance:
- Hollow knit allows heat to escape through fabric
- Viscose wicks moisture better than cotton in high humidity
- Textured surface prevents fabric from sticking to sweaty skin
- Lighter weight than solid knit polos
- Dries quickly after washing or perspiration
Designed for climates with temperatures above 30°C (86°F) and high humidity. Particularly suited for Middle Eastern dry heat and Southeast Asian humid conditions.
Construction Details
Collar & Placket:
Turn-down ribbed collar maintains structure in heat. Three-button placket with matching buttons. Collar knit is tighter than body for definition.
Sleeves:
Short sleeves with ribbed cuffs. Cuff ribbing prevents sleeve from riding up. Armhole cut allows full range of motion.
Hem:
Ribbed bottom hem with slight stretch. Designed to be worn untucked or tucked. Loose fit sits away from body.
Fit Type:
Relaxed loose fit through chest and waist. Not slim or athletic cut. Extra room allows air circulation between fabric and skin. This looser silhouette is intentional for hot climate comfort.
