WINDBORNE | Abstract Fabric Sculpture

Resin sculpture. Faceless figure in spiral drapery. 36cm H × 15cm W × 10cm D. Five finishes.

The form is a human figure reduced to its essentials - no facial features, no hands, no feet. What remains is the body as architecture, and the fabric that wraps it. The drapery spirals from the base upward, each fold frozen at the point of maximum tension, the cloth behaving as though caught mid-gust and held there permanently. The ovoid head sits above the spiral without expression or identity. The piece reads as movement, not portraiture.

The black rectangular base keeps the vertical composition stable without competing with the spiral above it. No assembly required.

SMOKE SHADOW | Translucent Gray
Semi-translucent gray resin with internal depth. Light passes through the material rather than reflecting off it — the sculpture shifts between opaque and luminous depending on the light source behind or beside it.

GALLERY WHITE | Matte White
Flat matte white throughout. No reflective surface — the finish directs attention entirely to the form and the shadow play across the spiral folds as light moves through the day.

SUNSET SPIRAL | Amber Coral Gradient
Translucent resin with an amber-to-coral color transition running from base to crown. Under backlighting the gradient intensifies, the warmer tones at the base deepening as the coral reads through the upper drapery.

GILDED TEMPEST | Metallic Gold
High-shine metallic gold. The reflective surface picks up every light source in the room and shifts between bright brass and warm bronze depending on the angle and ambient conditions.

MARBLE RHYTHM | Black and White
Black and white marbled striping applied across the full spiral form. The high-contrast pattern follows the drapery folds, making the spiral read as rotating even in stillness.

Hand-applied finishes create subtle variation between pieces. This is characteristic of the production process, not inconsistency.
