A semicircular arc of matte black metal curves up from a flat base, its two ends capped with small brass pins.
Suspended across the interior of the arc is a dense row of vertical fins, each one a narrow flat blade standing upright in sequence.
A small black resin figure sits on the rim of the arc, legs hanging over the edge, facing inward.
The figure is featureless and simplified - head, torso, limbs rendered without detail.
On the Standard size, the fins are white and opaque, the row reading as a solid mass of light and shadow as the angle of view changes.
On the Tall size, the fins are clear acrylic, the row becoming translucent and receding into the background behind them.
Both versions suit console tables, bookshelves, sideboards, and office desks where horizontal display space is available.
The piece reads differently from each angle - frontal, side, and oblique views each reveal a different density and texture from the fin arrangement.
