A ship anchor cast in resin and finished to read as aged, weathered iron.
The anchor form includes a full ring at the crown, a crossbar with rounded ends, a tapered shank, and two flared flukes at the base. A twisted rope wraps diagonally across the crossbar junction and trails down the shank, cast in a contrasting warm tan against the dark anchor body. The surface finish layers dark iron grey as the base, with heavy white chalking applied across the raised edges and high points to simulate salt and rust weathering on aged metal. Warm bronze tones show through in the mid-tones, creating a three-layer depth across the surface. The flat rectangular plinth keeps the piece standing upright and stable without wall mounting or a separate stand.
Works on shelves, mantles, console tables, and bathroom surfaces in nautical, coastal, industrial, and vintage-styled interiors. Pairs with rope accents, driftwood, aged maps, and linen or canvas textures.
