The figure wears a wide-brim hat, suit jacket, and tie - all rendered with close attention to fabric folds and lapel detail.
Both hands grip the instrument, fingers positioned across the key pads with visible detail on each valve and tone hole.
The bell of the saxophone faces outward and slightly downward, adding depth to the composition from the front.
The bust cuts off just below the chest, mounted directly onto the round marble plinth beneath.
Patina sits deepest in the jacket folds and hat brim, with lighter bronze across the face, hands, and instrument body.
At 40cm tall, it holds its presence on a desk, console, or bookshelf without needing surrounding objects to read well.
