Cloisonné — known in Chinese as Jingtailan — is a metalwork technique with origins in Ming Dynasty Beijing. The process involves forming a metal base, bending fine bronze wire into pattern cells across the surface, filling each cell with colored enamel, firing multiple times, and finishing with gold gilding along the wire lines. The result is a surface where every color field is physically separated by a raised gold border, giving the decoration a depth and precision that painted surfaces cannot replicate.

Each vase follows traditional three-section proportions: a narrow neck with geometric border patterns, a rounded body carrying the primary floral composition, and a pedestal base that echoes the neck's patterning. The floral motifs reference lotus, peony, and scrolling vine forms — standard vocabulary in classical Chinese decorative arts.

Two pattern sets are available. Pair A and Pair B use the same construction and proportions with different enamel color distributions across the floral compositions. Both ship as a matched set of two vases with two wooden display stands.

Note: Each vase shows slight variation in enamel application and wire placement — this is characteristic of the production technique, not a defect. These are decorative display objects and are not designed for water or fresh flower use.
