The water-repellent waxed cotton canvas exterior resists fouling and hardens against abrasion. The cowhide leather trim develops a natural patina with handling and exposure. Both materials improve over time rather than degrading.

The interior is organized for daily carry. A quilted padded laptop sleeve protects devices. Interior zip and slot pockets contain smaller essentials. On the exterior, a front flap pocket with buckle closures handles frequently accessed items. Two side flap pockets with buckles provide additional quick-reach storage. A hidden anti-theft zip pocket on the back panel sits against the body when worn.

The drawstring main opening secured by a buckled leather flap is the defining structural detail — it gives the bag its classic silhouette while keeping the interior sealed and accessible.
