The horse does not stand still. Neither does the room.
Modeled on Spartan cavalry at full charge - horse rearing, lance extended, shield arm forward. The crimson cape is cast in fabric-texture resin and billows behind the figure with the kind of arrested movement that makes the piece read differently from every angle.
The finish runs three tones. Charcoal gunmetal across the body. Silver highlights on the armor plating and horse musculature. Antique gold at the bridle work and armor trim. None of it is uniform. That is by design.
The helmet is Corinthian pattern with a full feathered crest. The shield face carries a lambda relief - the mark of Lacedaemon. The lance extends at attack angle. The integrated terrain base roots the composition so the rearing stance reads as power, not imbalance.
