A solid copper snake cast in a tight coiled resting position, head raised and turned to one side.
The body wraps in dense overlapping loops, with large individual scale plates pressed across every surface segment.
The head sits elevated above the coil, mouth slightly open, with fine facial detail visible at this compact scale. The coiled base sits flat and stable on any surface without a stand.
This piece differs from the strike pose in form and energy: where the cobra rears upward in tension, this one settles into a composed, grounded coil. The two read as natural companions on a desk tray or shelf display.
Antique brass finish brightens on the raised scale edges and top of the coil, darkening into the gaps between loops and the underside recesses. Dense copper construction gives it noticeable weight for its footprint.
