High-Value Item Purchase Agreement

This agreement applies to all items designated as "Custom-Made," "Made to Order," "Bespoke," or items valued at $500 USD or more. These terms supplement and supersede conflicting provisions in our standard policies.

1. Production and Delivery Timeline

Production Phase

  • Production time: 3-8 weeks depending on item complexity
  • Production begins: Within 3-5 business days of order placement
  • Process: Master craftspeople build your item from scratch
  • Updates: You will receive production status emails every 1-2 weeks

Shipping Phase

  • Shipping duration: 2-4 weeks after production completes
  • Specialized packaging: Custom wooden crating for fragile items
  • Freight shipping: Large items use specialized carriers

Total Timeline

TOTAL DELIVERY WINDOW: 6-12 weeks from order date

This timeline is an estimate. Variations due to material availability, craftsmanship requirements, customs clearance, or carrier factors do not constitute breach of contract.

2. Cancellation and Refund Terms

3. Delivery Coordination and Inspection

Your Responsibilities

  • Respond within 48 hours to delivery coordination emails
  • Be available during scheduled delivery window
  • Inspect within 48 hours of delivery
  • Report damage within 72 hours with photographic evidence

⚠️ CRITICAL DEADLINES:

  • 48-hour inspection window after delivery
  • 72-hour reporting window for damage/defects
  • Claims submitted after these deadlines will NOT be accepted

Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • Storage fees: $50 per day after 14 days if you're unavailable for delivery
  • Re-delivery fees: $75-$200 if you miss scheduled delivery
  • Forfeiture of claims: Late inspection waives damage claim rights

4. Natural Material Characteristics

Many custom items are crafted from natural materials (wood, stone, crystal, leather) that possess inherent unique characteristics:

  • Grain pattern variations
  • Color hue differences
  • Mineral inclusions
  • Texture variations
  • Natural aging/patina

✗ Defects (Not Expected)

  • Structural failures
  • Non-functioning mechanisms
  • Production damage
  • Incorrect specifications
  • Missing components

Product photographs represent examples only. Your item will match the design and quality but may vary in natural material appearance. These variations are not defects.

5. Dispute Resolution and Chargebacks

Required Process Before Disputes

  1. Contact us first: Email moselestoresdesk@gmail.com with your concern
  2. Wait 14 business days: Allow us time to investigate and respond
  3. Participate in good faith: Work with us toward resolution
  4. Exhaust our process: Before filing chargebacks or disputes

Chargeback Agreement

You explicitly agree that you will NOT file chargebacks for:

  • "Non-delivery" during the stated 6-12 week delivery window
  • Items delivered within agreed timelines
  • Natural material variations
  • Production delays beyond our control

📋 Documentation We Will Provide in Disputes:

  • Timestamped agreement acceptance
  • Order confirmation with timeline acknowledgment
  • Production update communications
  • Shipping tracking and delivery proof
  • Photos of packaging quality

Frivolous chargebacks will be contested with full documentation and may result in pursuit of legal fees and damages.

6. International Shipping Acknowledgments

For international orders, you additionally acknowledge:

  • Customs clearance: 1-4 weeks typical, beyond our control
  • Customs duties: You are responsible for all import taxes and fees
  • Documentation: You may need to provide additional customs paperwork
  • Customs delays: Do not constitute breach of delivery timeline
  • Refused customs fees: Result in forfeiture of order without refund

7. Communication Expectations

We will provide: You agree to:
  • Production updates every 1-2 weeks
  • Shipping notification with tracking
  • Delivery coordination 5-7 days advance
  • Response within 48 business hours
  • Monitor email (including spam folder)
  • Respond within 48 hours
  • Provide accurate contact information
  • Notify us of address changes

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, weather events
  • Labor disputes, strikes, material shortages
  • Government actions, trade restrictions, tariffs
  • Carrier delays or operational failures
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest

During force majeure events, our delivery obligations are suspended for the duration of the event and timelines are extended accordingly. No refunds are issued for force majeure delays.

9. Legal Binding Agreement

By checking the agreement box and completing your purchase, you confirm:

  • ✓ You understand limited refund eligibility
