Hand-spun levitation top with a display base. Two-tone finishes with gold or rose gold accents. No batteries, charging, or wiring. Collector Edition.
The spinning top is one of the oldest objects made for play. Examples have turned up at archaeological sites thousands of years old. For most of that history, a top has meant something that spins on the floor and then falls over.
This piece lifts the idea off the surface. The top is spun by hand and set above its base. It then appears to hang in the air, turning in place until the spin winds down.
The Collector Edition comes in three finishes only. Each pairs a cool metal tone with a gold or rose gold accent. Gold has long marked the objects people choose to keep: watch cases, fountain pens, trophies.
It is made as a gift that stays out on the desk. Between spins, it stands as a small sculpture. A new spin takes one second and starts the effect again.
