The Corinthian helmet emerged in ancient Greece around the 8th century BCE and became closely associated with hoplite warriors, including the Spartans. Its defining features were a fixed nose guard, hinged cheek pieces that wrapped the jaw, and a horsehair crest mounted along the crown, offering coverage that later helmet designs traded away for better hearing and visibility.
This miniature carries the crest and cheek-piece silhouette of that helmet type in matte black, with gold detailing picking out the trim and crest base. It sits on its included display stand alongside an engraved nameplate. The surface shows visible layer lines from the 3D printing process, a natural feature of the material and craft rather than a flaw.
