    Cast resin. 34 cm H × 18 cm W × 20 cm D. Two finishes: White (marble-look) and Black (semi-gloss). Freestanding, no assembly required.

The original Discobolus was cast in bronze by Myron of Athens around 450 BCE. No original has survived. What remain are Roman marble copies, the most studied of which is the Lancelotti Discobolus, now held at the Museo Nazionale Romano in Rome. The sculpture's subject is an Olympic discus thrower frozen at the split second before release.

The pose is built around maximum stored tension. The torso rotates counter to the hips, producing an S-curve through the spine. The right arm holds the discus back and low. The head turns toward the discus. Weight loads onto the right leg, with the left foot trailing. It was the first major treatment of a body in motion in Western sculpture, a departure from the static Archaic tradition that made the Discobolus a reference point for anatomical study and athletic imagery for the two millennia that followed.

Greek athletic tradition depicted competitors unclothed, and this reproduction follows that convention faithfully. The resin casting preserves the surface detail of the pose at a scale suited to desk and shelf placement. Muscle definition across the chest, abdomen, and legs reads clearly at 34 cm. The White finish presents as a traditional marble reproduction. The Black finish renders the same form as a contemporary silhouette, where the S-curve of the pose reads as shape rather than surface anatomy.
